What's the job

Due to continued growth of the business we are looking for someone with a ‘can do’ attitude, flexible in their approach to work, making sure that the day-to-day needs of the office are managed. This is a varied role, and it is envisaged that it will continue to develop over time. We want someone who is proactive, resourceful, and enthusiastic.


What would you be doing?

The successful candidate will assist the HR/Office Manager with the day-to-day operational needs of the business. Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Being the first point of contact for all visitor
  • Booking of meeting rooms and arranging lunches when required
  • Answering switchboard
  • Full responsibility of post, both incoming and outgoing (though latter is extremely low
  • Ordering and maintaining stationery, printer supplies and the ‘office supermarket on-line shop’
  • Take responsibility for the management of all Health and Safety, including maintaining all documentation to meet H & S requirements including arranging servicing of fire alarm and emergency lighting, first aid training and undertaking risk assessments etc.
  • Inducting new employees on H & S practices
  • Supporting HR Manager with the recruitment process including, posting of job ads on relevant recruitment sites, collating candidates and liaising with hiring managers, booking interviews
  • Maintaining the upkeep and appearance of office including facilities management, liaising with external contractors when necessary
  • Keep our Intranet page updated with current content
  • Liaising with our external IT provider, including new starter proces
  • Support with the arrangements of team socials/events
  • Other administration and projects as required

What type of person are we looking for?

The right candidate will be bright, enthusiastic and confident, with an approachable and helpful disposition. Applicants should have experience of working in an office environment. You should be self-motivated and willing to take on extra responsibilities as the role develops. Experience in Health and Safety practices is highly desirable. Due to the nature of this role candidates should be willing to work in the office every day.


Essential Skills:

  • Polite, presentable and good telephone manner
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, ability to work within a small team and on your own initiative.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all members of staff, building relationships at all levels.
  • Have the ability to be resourceful and proactive with quick problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise own workload, whilst not sacrificing quality or accurac
  • Good IT skills, with a good working knowledge of the Internet & MS Offic
  • Experience in Health and Safety working practices
  • Have the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion

Desirable skills:

  • Knowledge of Sharepoint/Intranet

Hours:

20-25 Hours per week, to be agreed on appointment of the successful candidate. We are happy to facilitate hours to suit school and caring responsibilities, but consistency and the ability to work 5 days per week, Monday to Friday is required.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Web Development Team at FindAUniversity working as a Front-End Developer. Our Web Development Team are responsible for the functionality of both FindAMasters & FindAPhD websites used by over 1,000,000 prospective students each month to find their postgraduate programme or PhD opportunity.


Responsibilities

  • Writing reusable, tested and documented JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML & CSS code.
  • Turning UI/UX Designs into working prototypes and creating excellent interaction from designs.
  • Optimising websites for maximum performance and speed based on Google Core Web Vitals.
  • Maintaining and developing new user-friendly components and features on our websites and custom-built client management systems.
  • Working as part of an agile sprint team and taking part in sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.

Skills Required

  • Excellent understanding and experience of HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript & Typescript.
  • Knowledge and experience of using CSS Pre-processors (SCSS / LESS / SASS - we use SCSS)
  • Experience of working with responsive design including the use of Bootstrap
  • At least 3+ years demonstratable experience of working in a Front-End Developer role
  • Knowledge of working with JavaScript Frameworks (Angular / React / Vue JS - we use Angular)
  • Demonstratable experience of cross browser testing

Nice to have

We are looking for a Commercial Operations Manager within a growing Sales team, whose role is to develop and oversee the efficient and effective processes to deliver the commercial goals set out.

This is a new role, and we are looking for someone with experience in an operations, sales enablement or similar role who can work independently to take ownership of our CRM (Hubspot). They would work closely with key stakeholders to understand challenges, innovate change and communicate confidently and clearly.

Reporting to the Director, Sales - responsibilities include:

  • Identifying streamlined and efficient processes and workflows, implementing them on the CRM and providing ongoing training and support to ensure the new processes are successfully embedded.
  • Champion the use of CRM to the sales team, ensuring processes are adopted and adhered to, maximising output.
  • Developing our CRM (Hubspot) to develop and execute impactful, data-driven solutions to ensure maximum revenue and service.
  • Cross departmental collaboration toensure that the Sales and Account Management team can be successful in their role. This includes Marketing, Client Services and Web functions.
  • Working with the Director, Sales to develop the Sales and Account Management function, its resources and outputs to meet the growth needs of the business and our clients.
  • Ability to effectively communicate data and processes to individuals and teams.
  • Developing, maintaining and improving business intelligence.
  • Report accurately on sales pipelines and sales effectiveness
  • Represent the business at meetings, conferences and events – operationally or as a senior lead where required.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in measuring and improving the performance of sales team via a CRM (Hubspot desirable)
  • Commercially minded with data expertise
  • 2+ years of experience in Sales, or sales operations is a plus

What's the job?

We are looking for an SEO Executive to join our fast-growing Data & Optimisation Team. Reporting to our Head of Data and Optimisation, you’ll be supporting the team in executing and managing SEO campaigns across our website portfolio. This will include conducting keyword research, optimising website content, managing on-page SEO elements, and link building. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO best practices and experience managing SEO campaigns.

  • Day to day SEO tasks, including ranking tracking, technical audits and competitor analysis.

What’s the job?

We are looking for Account Managers to join our fast growing team. What’s the job?

The successful candidate will join our growing sales team who work with Universities in 60 Countries to help them attract, engage and recruit students via our websites and events. This role will be key to creating and advancing sales opportunities for the team by building relationships, understanding the challenges of our customers and presenting solutions.


WHat type of person are we looking for?

We are really looking for an ambitious and driven person to join the team, someone who can share their energy and enthusiasm with prospective clients via phone, email, video and in person. You’ll be confident in building new relationships, listening and taking a consultative approach to sales to help our customers get the best out of us. We work with 750+ Universities already but there are thousands more we could be helping, and this is where you come in!

The right candidate will be bright, determined and high-energy; able to roll their sleeves up, take on multiple responsibilities, and have a strong desire to positively contribute to the success of the team, whatever it takes.

This is a sales role and the right candidate will have some experience working in sales, ideally selling marketing solutions.

Experience working in the higher education sector would be an advantage but is not essential.


What will you be doing?

  • Responsible for hitting or exceeding financial targets including creating, progressing and converting sales opportunities.
