As an Account Manager New Business at findcourses, your primary responsibility is to drive new sales by actively engaging with potential client prospects. This involves initiating and nurturing relationships with prospective clients to understand their needs and offer relevant solutions from findcourses' portfolio of services. Your role focuses on expanding the client base and creating opportunities for growth through effective sales strategies and client engagement techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting, presenting, pitching, and closing new business in the UK market.
  • Developing a strong client portfolio and implementing practices for strategic growth.
  • Drive sales by phone, video conferences and through face-to-face meetings with clients.
  • Continuously reach monthly and half yearly sales targets.
  • Continuously use the systems and tools given to you by your manager to report and follow up on your sales activities.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Responsible for the whole sales process - from prospecting to signing.
  • Contracts and supporting the economy in receiving final payment from clients.
  • Being a self starter and a good team player, always puts the team first.


Required competences:

  • Some experience in B2B sales preferred, but not necessary.
  • Proven ability to hit and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation is preferable.
  • Experience in finding solutions based on client needs.

We are looking to grow our Operations function, and need a Commercial Operations Assistant, whose role is to assist the Commercial Operations Manager in a growing sales team.

Reporting to the Commercial Operations Manager - responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Commercial Ops Manager to maintain our CRM (HubSpot).
  • Champion the use of CRM to the sales team, ensuring processes are adopted and adhered to, maximising output.
  • Working with our Data team to ensure all sales data is accurate and communicated effectively.
  • Cross departmental collaboration to ensure that the Sales and Account Management team can be successful in their role. This includes Marketing, Client Services and Web functions.
  • Attention to detail working with sales figures to support Account Directors and Commercial Director.
  • Maintaining reports within the CRM on sales pipelines and sales effectiveness.

Requirements

  • We are happy to hear from anyone with an interest in sales, data, or operations.
  • Commercially minded with data expertise.
  • Experience in Sales, or sales operations is a bonus.
  • Passion for knowledge transmission.
  • Excellent English level is a must.

Finance Manager with FindAUniversity.

Finance Manager

The Finance Manager will be responsible for assisting the FC, providing key financial data to aid the management team in decision making, supporting month-end accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and audit. You will work collaboratively whilst challenging what we do daily to ensure we are always improving.

The position of Finance Manager has three clear purposes:

  1. To ensure the business reports accurate financial management information on a timely basis to the SLT, Group and external stakeholders.
  2. To take ownership of the integrity of the information within the general ledger, the payroll processing cycle, intercompany recharges/reconciliations and the balance sheet reconciliation process.
  3. To assist the Financial Controller in all aspects of finance and reporting as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts–preparing and posting monthly/quarterly journals such as accruals, prepayments, depreciation, corporation tax provision.
  • To assist in the preparation of submissions and reports to Group Finance - preparing standard reports and uploading information to consolidation system from Trial Balance.
  • To be the primary contact for payroll - liaising with HR and external payroll agency re payroll processing, and answering any employee queries.
  • To be the primary contact for intercompany invoicing and reconciliation.
  • To maintain accurate and robust balance sheet reconciliations.
  • To support the Financial Controller with all statutory reporting requirements including VAT and tax filings as well as annual Statutory accounts and the audit process.
  • Maintain Fixed Asset Register and lead on periodic verification process.
  • Supporting the FC and MD with ad hoc analysis, reporting and data as required.
  • Supporting other Finance team members as required, e.g authorising payments, assisting with account code queries etc.

Skills and Experience:

  • Part qualified accountant – CIMA, ACCA, ACA.
  • Bookkeeping / accounting experience required (minimum 2yrs) – must have been in a general ledger role and have a good understanding of month end processes.
  • Some knowledge of payroll or dealing with payroll bureau an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of VAT preferred.
  • Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Advanced Excel. Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounting an advantage.
  • Strong organisation skills – able to prioritise and plan work load.
  • Ability to analyse data, interpret & relay information in a clear and concise manner.
