Looking Ahead to Autumn 2025: Join Us at Our Upcoming Postgrad LIVE Study Fairs

Autumn is fast approaching, and so are our Postgrad LIVE study fairs —returning to 5 UK cities this October. These in-person study fairs are a great opportunity to meet thousands of engaged, prospective postgraduate students actively researching their next steps.

Here’s where we’re heading this autumn - and how to make the most of it.

#1 Senate House, University of London

On Wednesday, 15 October, we’ll be hosting our first Postgrad LIVE study fair at Senate House, University of London. An iconic Art Deco building in the heart of Bloomsbury. As the University’s flagship venue, Senate House offers impressive, purpose-built event spaces, including spacious foyers and lecture theatres ideal for engaging with prospective postgraduates.

And if you have time before your train, The British Museum, which features two million years of human history and culture, is just a 3 minute walk away from the venue.

#2 Cutlers’ Hall, Sheffield

For our Sheffield postgraduate study fair, we’ll be at the historic Cutler's Hall, surrounded by historic charm and timeless elegance. This Grade II* listed building is the headquarters of the Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire, a selection of old Hallamshire knives are on show inside the hall, some of which go back to the Elizabethan era.

Cutlers’ Hall places you right in the heart of Sheffield - just steps away from the city’s heritage and culture and is easily accessible for local students. Directly opposite is Sheffield Cathedral, a building with over 1,000 years of history. Just a short stroll away, you’ll also find the Peace Gardens, a popular green space surrounded by impressive architecture and perfect for a moment of calm before heading to the station.

#3 Nancy Rothwell Building, The University of Manchester

We'll be heading to Manchester for our third Postgrad LIVE study fair, situated in the Nancy Rothwell Building, home of Engineering and Materials at The University of Manchester.

The building is just a short walk from the lively Oxford Road corridor. As you head back toward the station, you’ll pass a range of cafés, independent shops and green spaces like All Saints Park - perfect for grabbing a coffee or taking a breather.

#4 Assembly Buildings, Belfast

Our fourth stop is Belfast, where Postgrad LIVE will be held at the impressive Assembly Buildings Conference Centre. Designed in the style of a Scottish baronial castle and dating back to 1905, this gothic landmark features a 40-metre-high clock tower, a bell tower with Belfast’s only operational peal of 12 bells and several beautifully preserved stained-glass windows.

The Assembly Buildings is perfectly located in central Belfast, just a short walk from a wide selection of hotels - including the Holiday Inn, Europa Hotel, Grand Central Hotel and Leonardo Hotel - ideal if you’re travelling down the night before. The surrounding area also offers plenty of restaurants and bars to unwind in after your journey. And if you're into the arts, the iconic Grand Opera House is just around the corner, offering a rich programme of performances in one of Belfast’s most historic venues.

#5 Oxford Town Hall, Oxford

Last but not least, we're heading to our final Postgrad LIVE study fair of the season in Oxford. Oxford Town Hall is a Victorian Grade II* listed building, located in the heart of Oxford.

If you’re arriving in Oxford the night before, or have some time to spare before your train, there’s plenty to explore just a short walk from the venue. Discover local culture at the Museum of Oxford, Modern Art Oxford, or The Story Museum. You’ll also find a great selection of cafés and restaurants nearby - perfect for a coffee break or a bite to eat before heading home.

More to come in 2026

Can’t make it to one of our Autumn Postgrad LIVE study fairs? Don’t worry - we are also offering five more study fairs in Spring 2026, giving you even more chances to connect with prospective postgraduate students across the UK. Whether you're planning ahead or still deciding where to exhibit, there’s plenty to look forward to in the new year.
